Long time no see!
Was on extended hiatus from tumblr, trying to work out the next step in my fledgling career. I’ve decided I could use more education, so I’m busy preparing applications to MBA programs. Taking the GMAT next week. Yowza!
Anyhoo, there is an awesome event being organized by the Entrepreneurship and Venture Leads of Girls in Tech-NYC chapter. On November 10th, Golden Seeds General Partner, Peggy Wallace, moderates a panel discussion among four active women venture capitalists in the private equity and entrepreneurship space who make DEALS happen. I’m pretty excited for this opportunity to hear their inside story, how they became venture capitalists, and how they approach their investment decisions. In order for more capital to become accessible to women, we need more women investors like them.
I would love for all my online and offline friends to join me at this event. It will be held at the swanky Samsung Experience in Time Warner Center, but only $5 to register. Now, that’s what I call a bargain. Here’s the link with all salient details: http://gitnycventure2.eventbrite.com/
